Unveiling of the memorial plaque to Nobel Prize winner H. Senkevicius
The memorial plaque of the writer H.Senkevičius was solemnly unveiled in the manor of Bistrampolis, commemorating the 100th anniversary of his death. The common history of Lithuania and Poland is remembered, and an oak grove is planted. The company Veritas Ana also contributed to honoring the memory of the famous writer and produced a memorial plaque to commemorate the traces of the works left by H. Senkevičius in this region. According to the available data, H. Senkevičius lived in the Bistrampolis manor in 1880 and collected material for his novel The Flood.
Bas-relief of Italian Princess Bona Sforza
The Renaissance garden of the Royal Palace was decorated with a bas-relief of the Grand Duchess of Lithuania and the Queen of Poland, Princess Bona Sforza of Italy. Bronze and marble, gilded and enamelled bas-reliefs (sculptor Jonas Gencevičius) were donated to the Museum of the Royal Palace by the Union of Nobility of the Vilnius Region.
We are delighted that we have been entrusted with making the foundation of the marble stone for this wonderful work of art.
